Two Hearts

The background of this card was made using a chicken wire embossing folder on the top section and Indigo Blu's 'Floral Swirl' stamp with Tinsel embossing folder for the bottom part.  I added a piece of silver mirror card with a ribbon across the centre to break up the sections.

The frame is made from Spellbinders 'Romantic Rose' die set.  I used an Indigo Blu heart stamp with silver embossing powder for the toppers.  I stuck one flat one with foam pads to give it a bit of dimension.  Finished off with a Lily of the Valley sentiment and some PVA pearls in silver sparkle on the edges.

Gardening Bears

I made this card for my Grandad's birthday.

He's a big gardening fan so this Gruffies stamp from House Mouse was perfect.  The stamp set is called 'With Friends Like These'.  I stamped the bears onto the 'waste' section from Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25 and coloured them in using Spectrum Noir pencils.  I went round the edge of the frame using Cosmic Shimmer PVA pearls in black.

For the background I used a lattice embossing folder for the top half, coloured over with Vintage Photo Distress Inks and a piece of decorative paper from My Minds Eye for the bottom half.  I added a couple of borders and a sentiment from Lili of the Valley.

I handmade the seed packet, colouring it with Vintage Photo distress ink and adding a few sunflower stamps over the top.

Wedding Card

I've missed blogging since I stopped earlier this year so have decided to restart my blog.  I'll start with some of the cards I made over summer, I didn't end up taking pictures of many but I'll share the ones I took photos of.

My sister got married at the end of August, this is the card I made for her:

I used Sheena Douglass' church stamp from her 'A Little Bit Sketchy - Believe' set.  I embossed the church using silver embossing powder.  I used Spellbinders 'Majestic Labels 25' to create a frame to go around the church.  I backed the frame onto some silver Mirri card and cut out the middle so the corners had silver behind.  The swirls are from a Memory Box die.  Finished off with a sentiment from Lili of the Valley.
