MDF Butterfly

A friend of mine is in hospital at the moment so I've made this to send to her as hopefully something a bit cheerful she can put up.  I used the small butterfly MDF plaque from Dreammes to make this decoration.  I covered it over with some decorative papers and added PVA pearls around the outside edge.  The flowers are made from Dreammes stamps - some are from the 3-petalled set and some are from the Ditsy Stitches set.  I added a PVA pearl into the centre of each flower and arranged them over the butterly.  The words are cut out from a stamp I had and are covered over with Glossy Accents.

Baby Girl

The colours haven't photographed very well for this card.  The background is white card with an Indigo Blu swirl stamp stamped over it in Spun Sugar Distress Ink.  I added a border strip across the middle which is again coloured with Spun Sugar with a new baby sentiment stamped across it.  The main image is from last month's Creative Stamping free stamp set which I coloured in using Spectrum Noir pencils.  The flowers are made using the Dreamees '3-petalled flowers' stamps, with a few leaves around and a PVA pearl in the centre.

Two Hearts

The background of this card was made using a chicken wire embossing folder on the top section and Indigo Blu's 'Floral Swirl' stamp with Tinsel embossing folder for the bottom part.  I added a piece of silver mirror card with a ribbon across the centre to break up the sections.

The frame is made from Spellbinders 'Romantic Rose' die set.  I used an Indigo Blu heart stamp with silver embossing powder for the toppers.  I stuck one flat one with foam pads to give it a bit of dimension.  Finished off with a Lily of the Valley sentiment and some PVA pearls in silver sparkle on the edges.

Wedding Card

I used Spellbinders 'Majestic Labels 25' to make the frame for this card.  I backed it onto silver mirror card so it just showed through the decorations on the corners.  I used the free stamp set from last month's 'Creative Stamping' magazine for the couple in the centre of the frame.  I embossed the image with silver embossing powder.

I used Dreamees '3-petalled flower set' to make the flowers.  I stamped them out using silver embossing powder and added a PVA pear into the centre of the flowers.  I added some swirls behind the flowers using a Memory Box die.  I finished the card by adding PVA pearls round the edge.

Easter Basket

I started by stamping a swirl stamp with 'Spun Sugar' Distress Ink for the background of this card.  I cut out a Spellbinders Labels 18 shape and stamped the basket from the free stamp set with 'Creative Stamping' magazine into the centre.  I coloured the basket using Spectrum Noir pencils.  I cut out some flowers using Sheena Douglass' 'Wild Rose' die and stamp set and again coloured them using Spun Sugar.  I added a die cut swirl behind the flowers and a PVA pearl dot in the centre.  Finished off with a sentiment.

Happy Easter

I used the free stamps from 'Creative Stamping' magazine for this card.  I used the flower border stamp and cut it up, decoupaging some of the flowers to get the frame shape that I wanted.  I used the duck stamp to go in the middle of the frame and finished off by adding a sentiment.
