Little Bird

I started this card by cutting a circle aperture in the middle of the card, mounting it onto another piece which I'd coloured using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  I used Indigo Blu's 'Floral Swirl' stamp to decorate the two corners of the card, again stamped using Tumbled Glass.  I used guilding flakes to decorate round the outside of the card and the inside of the aperture.

I stamped out Indigo Blu's 'Clematis Flourish' stamp a few times onto another piece of card and cut out the flowers to use to decorate the outside of the aperture frame.  I used a mixture of blue, purple and pink promarkers to colour in the flowers.  I added the bird from the same stamp set into the flowers and cut a banner with a rub on sentiment added in behind the flowers.

The bow is from Indigo Blu's 'Wreathed in Smiles' stamp set.  I coloured it with Tumbled Glass ink and added it into the top corner of the card.  I finished off by adding some pearls to decorate round the flourish.

I am entering this card into Indigo Blu's challenge 24:  Touch of Red
