Vintage Floral

I cut half of the front off an 8X8 card blank to make the shape for this card.  I used one of the images from Daphne Brissonet's Card Making Pad 1 for the main topper.  I used a couple of patterned papers for background.

The flowers are made from Dreamee's 3 petal flowers stamp set.  I coloured the flowers with a pink promarker and added a PVA pearl drop into the centre.  The foliage is from Sue Wilson's finishing touches die range - 'Delicate Fronds'.

Inside of the card, layered panel with sentiment.

In The Garden

I made this card for my Grandad's birthday.  I made a gatefold card, cutting in a diagonal across the top edges to make it more of a fancy shape.  I used the free stamps from Creative Stamping Magazine to stamp out the watering can and plant pots, colouring them in using Spectrum Noir pencils.

I stamped the wheelbarrow and flowers from the same stamp set into the middle of a circle to create the middle of the card and again coloured it using Spectrum Noir pencils.

With Thanks

I was asked to make a card as a 'thank you' for a teacher.  I used the 'Cattus Librum' stamp from Stampendous for my main image.  I layered up a couple of patterned papers for the background, using a border punch for the strip across the middle of the card.  I used two edges from the Fancy Tags Spellbinders dies for embellishments on the card, I thought they looked a bit like fancy book hinges to complement the card.  Finished off by adding a sentiment under my topper.
